School-To-School Support
JFKTSA has a track record of delivering high quality, bespoke school-to-school support, tailored to fit your specific needs. We currently provide a range of supports covering SEND curriculum planning, through to assessment, audits and behaviour support consultancy. Additionally, as part of Newham’s Education Guarantee, JFK provides INREACH training for staff in mainstream schools. Inreach packages can be arranged in order for your staff to come and spend some time at JFK Special School, experiencing our teaching, learning and assessment strategies first hand.
A range of strategies are available for schools to access, with both national and local evidence that school-to-school support can lead to significant improvements in student outcomes.
“As Inclusion Manager of a mainstream school, having the opportunity to work with JFKTSA’s specialists supports me, my staff and our pupils. Access to a range of SEND expertise in teaching, learning and behaviour management has helped develop practice and had a positive influence across the school.”
K.Nursimloo - AHT/Inclusion Manager of Drew Primary School.

Assessment
We are a school that uses Measuring and Assessing Pupil Progress (MAPP) to assess within curriculum pathways. Our assessment training allows practitioners to see how MAPP works and examine a strategic whole school approach to assessment. As part of the training we work on action planning for assessment in the context of participants settings.
